Some researchers have suggested that Catharine Bowman died in 1875 in Mahoning County, Ohio but the 1880 US Census indicates that she was living with her married daughter, Sarah. There is no logical evidence or documentation to support the suggestion that either she or her husband, John Krebs, who died in 1876, were in Mahoning County, Ohio. (Brian L. Lightfoot)
