Interment at Breckenridge cemetery with I.O.O.F. services at the grave.

He lived in the Plymouth neighborhood until about 1908 when the family moved to a farm near Gosport. In 1918 he sold the farm and in 1919 moved to Knoxville where he lived until his death. He united with the Plymouth Presbyterian church before he was 21 years of age, later transferring his membership to the Presbyterian church in Knoxville, and served that church for several years as elder and trustee, and rarely missed the Sunday school and church service. "Rad" Fast, as he was known by all his friends, inherited from his father, Jesse Fast, a sturdy character and honesty and determination of purpose to be and do right as was possessed by few persons of any community. He was a good husband, good father, good neighbor and a loyal citizen of his country and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
