• Her obituary was published after 18 December 2015. June Pike (nee Feakins), born February 29, 1924, in Oberlin, Ohio, and passed away in Wisconsin where she lived with her daughter; Candy Stermer. Prior to moving in with her daughter, she resided in Oberlin, Elyria, Amherst and South Amherst all in Ohio.
She was employed as a telephone operator with Oberlin Telephone Company in the 1940's and 1950's. June was a past member and president of the Amherst VFW Ladies Auxiliary 1662. While living in Ohio, she spent as much time as possible by Lake Erie. She was an avid bowler and loved growing roses. She could take a rose bush that seemed to have no hope of surviving and turn it into a beautiful bush. After moving to Wisconsin with her daughter, Candy, she enjoyed camping with the family and enjoyed the water from the shore. She enjoyed working in the garden when she was able to.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn & Ruth (nee Reighley) Feakins, brothers Herbert, Glenn Jr. & Darrell Feakins, and sisters Mildred (Andrew) Dudash, Roberta (William) Cooper, Juanita (Gerald) Currier.
She will be missed by her children in Ohio; Sandra (Thomas) Shuster of Fostoria, Randy Feakins of Wellington, Timothy Pike of South Amherst, Candy Stermer of Camp Lake, Wisconsin and Holly L. (Daniel) Holzworth of Appex, North Carolina. Also surviving are grandchildren Stephanie (Dirk) Whitt, Kathryn (Jonathan) Crum both of Ohio, Jacob Wasem of Kentucky, Courtney Pike of New Jersey, Amanda West of Minnesota, Stevie Stermer of Colorado, Samantha Wasem and Brett Stermer both of Wisconsin, and Christopher, Katie and Matthew Holzworth; great grandchildren Olivia and Bishop Whitt, Emma Feakins; Maci Crum, Alexander and Viviana Finch.
There will be graveside services at Evergreen Cemetery \endash South Amherst, Lorain, Ohio.

June married Dale Curtis Pike on 16 May 1958 in Arlington County, VA. (Dale Curtis Pike was born on 10 April 1926 in Grand Rapids, MI and died on 24 February 1999.)
