NOTE - The name of a daugher, Sarah Ann Martin, was missing from the 1850 census record with her parents. However, living next to William Martin were what appears to be two of his brothers. One of the brothers was Jonathan Martin and his wife, Ann, and living with them was a young girl with the name of Sarah A. Martin, age 16. This could have been their child but it also might be that William's daughter, Sarah, was not living at home but rather with her uncle and his wife. Her age was slightly of; if this were actually William's daughter, and if her birth date was 20 Jun 1836, then her age should have been 13 instead of 16.
