• His obituary was published in the Lima News on 14 August 1961 in Lima, OH.
1 Delbert F. Fast, 78, of 733 Columbia St. died at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Ottawa Valley Hospital, Lima, where he had been a patient six months.
Mr. Fast was a constable in St. Marys Township for six years. He had been a machinist with the Crane and McMahon Co., St. Marys until his retirement.
Born Jan. 15, 1883 in Mercer County, a son of William and Marinda (Fowler) Fast. He married Mary Agnes Grubb and she died 22 years ago. In 1945 he married Cora Prate, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Eugene of Arlington and William of St. Marys; one daughter, Miss Mary Fast of St. Marys; two brothers, Elmer of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Charles of Celina; and five grandchildren. A brother and half-sister are deceased.
Rev. L. D. Reynolds will conduct services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First EUB Church in St. Marys. Burial will be in Elmgrove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Suttler and Stein Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Delbert married Mary Agnes Grubb, daughter of David B. Grubb and Elizabeth Brumbaugh, about 1901.
