  General Notes:

NOTE - It is interesting to note that daughter Loretta was married in Carroll County, Missouri in 1884 even though her parents moved to Kansas between 1871-1874 when Loretta was only 6-9 years old. Obviously she could not have been left behind so she must have moved back to Missouri on her own when she was married at the age of 19. Phoebe's brother, Eli, who moved to Kansas with their parents, moved back to Carroll County, Missouri by 1880 so she may have returned back with him.

Although her birth name is believed to be Loretta, she almost always used Lettie throughout her adult life. Her gravestone says Lettie.

  Death Notes:

According to an Arizona Certificate of Death, Lettie A. Hedrick resided in Camp Verde, Yavapai County, Arizona, "behind Wingfield store". She lived in Arizona 23 years, and in rural Camp Verde 4 of those years. She was born in Indiana; her father's name was Henry Stover of Virginia, and mother's maiden name Phoebe Lightfoot of Missouri. Cause of death listed simply as "natural causes" at 10:50 A.M., June 20, 1951. There was no autopsy. The informant who provided data for the Certificate of Death was Mrs. Mary Russell (Lettie's daughter) of Camp Verde, Arizona.
