Just as with her mother, there is some question as to her true middle name. There is a birth record for her which shows that Ruth's middle name was Leibeth and that her mother's name was Leibeth. This could be a transcription error from the original records and perhaps their names were Lizbeth or Elizabeth. One researcher shows her middle name as Elizabeth but more documentation is needed.
