One researcher, William Arthur Richards, gives the name of an additional daughter named Florence but he provides no source citations. It is doubtful that there ever was such a fourth child; the 1920 US Census shows Clara declaring that she had given birth to 3 children and all 3 were still living. The names of those 3 children are well documented and do not include the name of Florence. However, there are 8 years in between the births of her 2nd child and her 3rd child so it could be possible that there might have been another birth during those years.
