------------------------------------------

About 1913, Adelbert and his family moved from Michigan to White Pine County, Nevada where he set up a practice as an attorney. Another daughter, Alice Lee, was born there in 1914 but within 2 years she died in Salt Lake City in 1916. It appears that his wife, Goldia, returned to Michigan after the death of the daughter because in Sep 1918, Adelbert appeared on the World War I Draft Registration Card in White Pine County, Nevada but he gave his wife as his nearest relative and listed her address as Gaines, Genesee County, MI.

By 1920, Adelbert had closed up his legal practice in White Pine County, Nevada and re-joined his wife back in Genesee County, Michigan.
-----------------------------------------------------

Both Adelbert and Goldia were killed in the same automobile accident. Her injuries were so severe that she died within 9 hours of being admitted to Pontiac General Hospital. At the time, Adelbert's condition was described as "fair" but he remained hospitalized for another 30 days until he died on 2 Oct 1930.
