3 We are sorry to announce the death of Frank Dye, which occurred on Monday from the effects of influenza. He was road supervisor of road district No. 2. The funeral has been postponed for several days.

The deceased was born in Carroll County, Missouri on the 3rd of October, 1880 and he moved to Tillamook county in 1900 living here until the time of his death, April 7th. He was married to Miss Mary E. Tucker the first of July 1906 and three children were born to the union, viz., Jesse, aged 10, Mamie aged 8, and Marvin aged 6 years. The deceased leaves a wife, three children, an aged father and mother, one brother, Connie Dye, and one sister, Mrs. O. W. Kinnaman, besides other relatives, and a host of friends to mourn his death.

He was a member of the United Brethren church at Beaver and was a consistent Christian and was a member of the Oddfellows and Modern Woodsmen lodges.
