bullet  Marriage Notes:

Email from Eddene Hightower in Nov 2013:

"My mother is the one I referred to in my letter as Eunice (Swift) Hightower who grew up near to the Lightfoot families and others in the community (back in those days) of Kelso, that being the place where King Lightfoot built a store in an area on the MKT Railroad line northeast of Vinita.

I didn't mention that Mother also lived with King's son, Robert Herman Lightfoot's son, Don Oscar "Oscar" Lightfoot and his wife Sally for several years, serving as their live-in maid, housekeeper, baby sitter.

They lived in the Kansas City area for sometime, then they came back to Vinita, then he got on at the oil company in Bartelsville, OK and they lived there for awhile.

Then he got transferred to Texas and he, wife and children had already gone down there, but Mother hadn't yet. That's when they told her that their little girl, Dona had died and they were coming back to Oklahoma. I don't know where they went after that, but Mother went on to other jobs."
