   Another name for Lillie was Catharine Elizabeth Corker.^{13 15}

  General Notes:

Lillian's name seems to be at first Catharine, then she went by her middle name of Elizabeth, and then by 1873 when she was married, she was using the name Lillie, probably short for Lillian. I'm not sure what her true given name was, but it is apparent that during her adult years she always used the name of Lillie.

Her birth date is also somewhat of a mystery. The early census records all seem to point to Feb 1848 but beginning around 1895, she seemed to think that she was born in 1847.

Lillie E. James, daughter of Luke and Catherine Corker was born in Wayne County, Ohio, Feb. 10, 1847 and passed away from this life Dec. 25, 1940.

She was united in marriage with David James in 1873. To this union were born four children, two dying in infancy. The two remaining are Arch James of Atalissa and Ethel Kinsey of Dexter, Minn.
