Sarah may have been enumerated twice for the 1870 census. The first time would have been with a possible husband, Levin Rice and then a second time while living with her parents. The proof of the marriage is not positive and no document has yet been found to show that it was the Sarah Miller, daughter of Frederick Miller. However, on the census while living with her parents, her name was held out of position and listed last which usually means a different family member or a married family member. She was listed with her maiden name while living with her parents and with her married name while living with the possible husband.
