² Mrs. Margaret Cleo (Darner) Wiles, wife of John W. Wiles, of near this city, died at the Frederick memorial hospital early this morning after an illness of two months. Aged 47 years, she was a daughter of the late Z. Preston and Annie (Titlow) Darner. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Pocahontas of Chippewa Tribe No. 19, Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles, Creeger Post American Legion Auxiliary, Thurmont and the Lesistown Social Club.

Surviving here besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Gift, at home; two granddaughters, Vicki Lee and Margaret Brenda Kay Give. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Cleo (Darner) Wiles, wife of John W. Wiles were held at the funeral home, 106 East Church Street, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. George A. Brown, pastor of Centennial Memorial United Brethren in Christ Church officiated. Members of National Council 38, degree of Pocahontas with Pocahontas, Mrs. Mildred Rhoades, Wenonah, Mrs. Dorothy O'Brien, prophetess, Mrs. Pauline Weddle and Powhatan, Miss Elverna Norwood conducted services at the grave.

Pallbearers were: John C. Weddle, Sr., Joseph Shook, Carl S. Esterlly, Roy Zimmerman, Norman F. Fogle, and R. Donald Gearinger. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Etchison and son, funeral directors.
