  General Notes:

"Remaining at the old home where she now lives, 707 Locust Avenue, Fairmont, and caring for her aged father until his death, she had led a useful and serviceable life, keeping the old home the happy gathering place for her sister and brother and their families who have moved to distant states. The old red house is full of memories, with "Aunt Monta" as its hostess. Monta Stell FAUST is an active worker in the First Presbyterian Church of Fairmont and a participant in the activities of other city organizations. She holds membership in the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution through the service of her great great grandfather, John CARTER. She has been of invaluable assistance in the preparation of this manuscript because of her wide acquaintance with members of the FAST or FAUST family living in or near Fairmont. The present writer acknowledges great indebtedness to her for many, many things."
