Ruth Hossler Wood died from congestive heart failure on her way to church. Most of the Horace Hossler children were able to attend the funeral which was somewhat exciting in that everyone got snowed in because of a major snow storm in the Midwest that kept people from returning home. Everyone helped go through the Aunt Ruth's house to find bank books, etc. Ruth 's home was filled with a number antiques and collections. There were old clothes, books, stamps, etc. Quite an enjoyable time for the family.
