Some researchers mistakenly listed the name of this infant daughter as Ella Eldora Lightfoot (such as the FindAGrave.com page) but the birth records from Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa show that the daughter born to Charles and Ella Lightfoot was named Ella Eldora Lightfoot and she was born on 20 Sep 1911 and not the 1906 dates given for the infant that died after only a few days, or perhaps was stillborn.

Birth records seem to indicate that her given names were Ella Eldora but at some time in her adult life she started using the names of Ellen Louise. She was listed as Ella on the 1920 US Census living with her parents in Omaha, NE but by the 1930 US Census she was married and using the names Ellen Louise while she was living with her husband, Oscar Cline, in Burlington, IA.

⁷ Daughter of Charles Levi Lightfoot and his wife Ella May Ferrington. Ms. Cline was a homemaker and worked at Antennacraft of Burlington, retiring in 1974. She was of the Protestant faith. She was previously married to Oscar Cline, then Kenneth McCormick, and resumed the name Cline.

Survivors include two sons, Oscar R. Cline of Burlington and Lee Cline of New London; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one brother and two sisters.
