His gravestone apparently has the wrong year of death, 1903, instead of 1904. The Indiana Death Index Database, 1882-1920 indicates the date of death as 19 Sep 1904. Furthermore the small clipping from the Chesterton Tribune newspaper which announced his death and burial was dated 30 Sep 1904.
