The middle name of Charles is a bit of a mystery. His gravestone clearly indicates "F" and the creator of the Find-A-Grave memorial page indicates that it was Franklin. However, the 1885 and 1900 US Census forms clearly indicate a middle initial of "E".

The creator of the Find-A-Grave page also indicates a birth date of 2 Jul 1867 yet the gravestone indicates 1868. The 1900 US Census provided a birth date of Apr 1868.
