NOTE - No relationship was given for Nellie Darner and no age was provided other than "under 18". She was believed to be the orphaned daughter of James Darner who died in 1880 and August Cross who died in 1882 either during childbirth or shortly thereafter. Thus she was a 13 year old granddaughter born in 1882. .

NOTE - Hettie had indicated that 12 of her 14 children were still alive as of 1 Jun 1900. To the best of my records, there were only 11 as 3 had already died. Those that died before 1900 were sons Andrew Jackson Darner in 1898, Henry Nelson Darner in 1882, and James M. Darner in 1880. The death records for Henry Nelson Darner are a little sparce so they might be misleading and he may have lived past 1900 but there are no records about him. .
