Catherine Drugan ¹

  Burial Notes:

The Catherine in this Find A Grave memorial was found listed on the old 1995 database. She was not found during the Dimmick 1981 monument reading nor the 2001 Lightfoot survey.

The owner of the lot listed in the old database is Hubert Drugan which would have to be Hubert Charles (1872-1949) who is buried in the new Holy Cross cemetery. Hubert's memorial in the Holy Cross cemetery lists those who survived him but does not mention any children who preceeded him in death.

It is presumed, at this update, that this burial was marked with a small wooden cross which later disappeared as a result of weather deterioration and/or the fire that engulfed the entire cemetery.

Small white wire crosses were placed on the graves of Catherine and Leo Drugan during the May 2013 clean-up.

NEW: La Crosse Diocese death/burial records for St. Bartholomew church in Book 2 (1915-1946) lists an infant, Catherine Drugan died and was buried in August 1923. No other details.
